Digital resumes – The Future for Job Seekers?

I read in the BBJ that Video resumes were the future for job seekers. Any suggestions?
Many in the graphic arts and technology arenas have seemed to gravitate to this new digital CV, however most mainstream businesses have not adopted this format. Some of the reasons may be that the file size of the video sent in email may be too large taking up too much of the allotted server space for the viewer. Another reason may be that the time it would take to watch several video resumes would be so significant if several applicants sent their video resume. However, the biggest problem may stem from the fact that employers do not want to be viewed as discriminatory. Since people tend to have predisposed prejudices, assumptions can be made on several different levels. This can get into some dicey territory especially if the person has the technical ability to perform the job.
