Stephen James Associates Acquires Stafford Paige LLC
Acquisition extends professional recruitment firm’s reach into New Jersey market

Baltimore, MD – January 6, 2009 – Stephen James Associates, an emerging national professional recruitment firm, has extended its reach into New Jersey with the acquisition of one of New Jersey’s leading professional recruitment firms, Stafford Paige LLC. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Stafford Paige LLC is led by former accounting professionals. The Managing Partners have a combined 40+ years of experience in the Accounting and Finance recruiting profession. Providing retained, contingency and interim executive search services across all industries, their clientele includes Fortune 1000, privately-held and venture capital/private equity portfolio companies.

“The newly acquired organization plans to pursue further expansion within New Jersey and into New York City,” said Joe Stauffer, Managing Partner at Stafford Paige LLC. Along with Al DeRosa and Michelle Mulvihill McBurnie, Stauffer will lead Stephen James Associates’ Accounting and Finance New Jersey operations.
