Treasurer jobs may require the candidate to report to the Chief Financial Officer, and could be responsible to develop and manage strategies, operations and policies related to the treasury function, including cash management, foreign exchange, borrowing, and payment processing.
Treasurer jobs may need seven to ten years of experience in finance and treasury, with a minimum of 4 years in a corporate treasury; strong treasury background, possibly a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and/or economics, or M.B.A. or other advanced degree in finance, economics, statistics or similar fields.
