With over thirteen years experience in the recruiting industry, R.D. Helt returned to the Kansas City market in 2008 to lead the development of Stephen James Associates. He was originally hired by former Stephen James Associates President Carl Wright with A.J. Burton in Bethesda, MD in 1997. During the next ten years, Helt was instrumental in building the Bethesda office of A.J. Burton - and later Spherion - into one of the most productive offices in the country.

R.D. and his team stress quality customer service for both clients and candidates - in fact a great number of his clients were repeat customers. This continues to be the trademark of the Stephen James Associates office in Kansas City.

Before joining the recruiting industry, R.D. was the football recruiting coordinator at the University of Kansas and an Associate Athletic Director at the University of Maryland.
