Ft. Lauderdale, FL: Stephen James Associates (SJA), a national search firm, announced the promotion of Carlos J. Arboleda to Executive Director for SJA’s Banking & Financial Services Group. In addition to his day to day responsibilities leading the banking group in Florida, Arboleda will help expand the companies’ national footprint within banking, focusing his efforts in key markets dictated by client demand, and will manage the entire banking group.
Prior to leading the Banking & Financial Services Group, Arboleda held various roles within operating companies of Allegis Group, including Technical Recruitment/Management in Engineering, Commercial, and Professional & Managed Services. Arboleda has 11 years in the recruiting industry.
“As we continue to expand the Banking practice we face the same focus as our clients, foremost is the necessity to attract, recruit, and retain the best talent in the market to facilitate growth and expansion. We will grow organically and through acquisition where it makes sense,” comments Arboleda.
Arboleda is a Miami native and a graduate of Coral Gables High School and The University of Florida. He is active in numerous communities and a board member of the following organizations: Boy Scouts of America, South Florida Workforce Investment Board, Broward Workforce Development Board, and South Florida Association for Financial Professionals. Arboleda is also a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and is Chair of the Executive Re-Employment and Outplacement Taskforce.
“Carlos's ability to source “A” rated talent within the community in a discreet and confidential way allows him the opportunity to make introductions between passive job seekers and clients, thus making him a valuable resource. This, combined with his passion and ability to lead and inspire others, made the decision to promote Carlos easy for a company like ours that has aggressive growth plans to serve the financial services community,” explains Rick Connolly, SJA President.
